Great, relaxed campsite. Really lovely staff with well stocked shop. Lots of room on pitches - trees, grass and a lake.
Plenty to keep kids occupied - playgrounds, crazy golf, badminton, table tennis. The municipal pool opposite is brilliant and has a small slide and massage wall, as well as a large separate pool for lane swimming.
The food from the snack bar is lovely - homemade burgers and frites were a hit with us.
There is a train station opposite with some trains to Orleans - check the timetable - leaving in the morning and returning late afternoon/evening.
A really lovely site. We only used for a one night transit stop on our way south but would definitely return for a longer stay. Really lovely and helpful lady at reception who speaks very good English. Pitches are very spacious (we have large twin axle caravan) all spaced out around a large lake. Lake is available to fish and has a nice little beach area. Facilities, though not used, looked nice and clean.
Nice site , helpful pleasant reception. Toilets and showers clean, although looking tired. Weve stopped on the site at the beginning and near the end of the season but still very useable. This is now our third visit and will certainly stay again. ,
September 2023 we have stayed again, great place to stopover on the trek up or down 🐝
Fabulous campsite situated conveniently just off the main road so is extremely easy to find and surprisingly quiet. This campsite is large and on walking around feels like two separate places. Part of the site is situated around a lake where fishing is allowed at one end and there is a manmade beach the other with swimming allowed in a roped off section. A walk around the lake takes around 10 minutes and mobile homes and safari tents are set around with views of the lake. For tents and mobile campers there is a sanitaire block in this area, but this is closed in low season. The other part of the site is set in woodlands with shade and sunny spots, there is also hard standing areas for motorhomes. Plots are a good size with electric points plentiful and water accessible but a bit of a walk to some points dependent on your plot, so some thought might be needed when pitching up if you need this. A second sanitaire block at the far end of the wooded area is also closed in low season leaving the only open and accessible facility near the entrance to the site, which is quite a walk if you pitch on the far side of the site near the lake. This sanitaire block is equipped with separate male and female showers in one block, separate male and female toilets, laundry, dishwashing facilities and locked disabled and child/baby changing facilities which can be accessed on request. There is toilet paper and seats in all the toilets and the only issue I could find was that access to the female toilets in this block was through the dishwashing room, which leaves no privacy for the toilets and seemed somewhat unhygienic to me as the the areas were not enclosed or separated by anything other than a partition wall that did not reach from floor to ceiling. The staff on site are extremely friendly and professional and check in was easy and quick and English is spoken if you need it. I think that this check in was the easiest and most efficient that I have ever experienced. The campsite is accessible through a coded barrier and wifi is available. Payment by card or cash is accepted and I recommend this campsite for either a stopover or longer stay.
When we arrive at the reception with our caravan with 3 children and one dog the owner received us in manners that I haven’t seen before. We had called before saying that we were coming but unfortunately we arrived 20 min late which was a …
This is an unpretentious gem of a site. Adequate shower and toilet facilities. Unspoilt natural charm, beautiful, highly recommend .
Friendly campsite, good sized pitches, clean amenities. Easy to find. Free access to a swimming pool.||FOOD- The campsite has a small restaurant/ café (high season) The service and food were excellent. Our son enjoyed the pizza and my …
It is really, really nice camping and place. Staff is very friendly! The place is very good with a lake on a side. The toilets are provided, but the paper is not provided at least not everywhere. The ground is very spacious and very good for tent. It is very easily penetrated. The surface is flat enough for a good night sleep, the beer is also provided till late. There are also entertaining for kids and for adults. I would return here if I have a chance.
